Today, March 20th, is the UN International Day of Happiness.
The Day of Happiness campaign is a global celebration to mark the UN International Day of Happiness. It is coordinated by Action for Happiness, a non-profit movement of people from over 140 countries and supported by a partnership of like-minded organisations.

We see commercials on TV that lead us to believe that buying or consuming certain products will make us happy. Celebrities and the media portray happiness as coming from fame and beauty. But happiness doesn’t come from material things or how much we earn. We need to be aware that there are a magnitude of things and opportunities to make us happy, and that they don’t have to be what someone else leads us to believe them to be.
Have you had enough of being made to feel poor in a world that is rich with opportunities to be happy?
With all of this in mind, ask yourself, what truly makes me happy?
